Your course facilitator

Hilary Farmer has a master’s degree in education and a long background in teaching students who do not learn in a conventional way. She is well versed in learning styles and the psychology of learning. Hilary's daughter is dyslexic and so she knows what it is like to have a dyslexic child go through the education system.

Hilary first encountered Ronald Davis' work when she read his book "The Gift of Dyslexia" in 1995. She was present on Ron Davis' first public appearance in London at the Adult Dyslexia Organisation's conference and was very impressed. She did her training in Paris and in California and in May 1997 became the first Davis Correction® facilitator in the U.K.

Since this time she has built up considerable experience working with adults and children using the Davis methods. As she became increasingly aware of the emotional issues involved in dyslexia, Hilary decided she needed more expertise in this area. She completed the MindFields College Diploma Course and is now a Human Givens Practitioner.

You can now purchase Hilary's self help audio CD's online. Please click the in mind logo for more information.

Hilary feels strongly that the Davis methods should be open to all and to that end, has a fund-raising branch of the business. This has enabled her to work with children from local schools and adults who would not otherwise have the opportunity to do the Davis course.
